Hello!

This page is dedicated to the Terminology of the Steam Islands Galactic Cluster.

The reason for this page is because of the existence of the SIGC, which is not located near the Virgo Supercluster nor Virgo Cluster. Due to this fact, we choose not to use Earth terms for Races, Languages, and Religions. So as to keep some sense, Species' Names are kept the same or made-up. The lists will expand as more terms are needed/added.

Oranzhevaya ugroza(Vodshkavia)	Has a dark purple, dark orange, or dark gray skin tone. First race of xenos to civilize. Most prefer a standard human ideal of family and daily life, but many still hold onto the hive mindset for government and hierarchal structure.
Chernaya ugroza(Zeritox)	Has a dark blue, dark purple, dark gray or black skin tone. Second race of xenos to become civilized. Towns work in a hive-like structure, but families are more like traditional human families. Due to their history, they love temperate climates.
Okeanskaya ugroza(Continentia)	Has a light black, dark green, or dark brown skin tone. Most "balanced" of the xeno races. Just attempt to blend in as best as they can with everyone else. Due to their history, they love warm-wet climates (such as jungles) and oceans.
Krasnaya ugroza(Müdlah)	Has a medium to dark red skin tone. Known for their short tempers and fairly violent nature. Because of their history, they love hot areas (such as deserts).
Belaya ugroza(Albiscia)	Has a light gray, light blue, or white skin tone. Due to their history, they love cold areas (such as tundras). But also because of this, they are very active during warm months and inactive/lazy during winter months.
Fioletovaya ugroza(Jisas)	Has a dark purple, light purple, or yellow skin tone. Known for their communal-outlook on life and their ability to work in small areas. Despite their sentience, they are still attached to their hive minds.
Linguafoeda acheronsis	Has a Pale Gray skin tone. They are very territorial and prefer to keep to themselves. Hate the Internecivus raptus and will thus get uncomfortable around them for any duration of time.
Internecivus raptus	Has a Jet Black skin tone. They are very territorial and love competition on almost anything. Believes it is superior to all other Xenomorph races. Hate the Linguafoeda acheronsis and will thus get hostile around them after extended durations of time.
Svetyashchayasya ugroza(Fulgore)	Skin tone varies between dark blue, dark green, and black. Various points on the body glows either neon green, neon cyan, or white (typically corresponding with the skin tone). Know for their hard work and quiet approach to life.

Kerbal Races

Gray Races

Periculosi	Has a dark gray skin tone and navy or dark green eyes. Known for short temper and violent outbursts. Very friendly when in their own communities.
Docilis	Has a light gray or white skin tone and light red or amber eyes. Known for their care-free attitude, which is sometimes more trouble than it's worth. Very uptight when alone.
Tutus	Has a light gray skin tone and dark red or dark blue eyes. Known for their generally helpful nature. Very accepting of others.
Divorsus	Has from dark gray to light gray skin tone and light green or light blue eyes. Known for their diversity and inclusive nature.
Euclidis	Has a medium gray skin tone and orange or amber eyes. We really don't know much about them, honestly. They're just sorta there. Good luck.
Occultus	Has a translucent light gray skin tone and white eyes. This race is known for being able to hide for long periods of time, and as such their bodies have adapted to hiding in "unfavorable places".

Annunaki Races

Alpha	Has a light blue skin tone. Tend to do well in heavy industry and agriculture due to their hardworking attitude.
Beta	Has a light red skin tone. Tend to be very charismatic and love the company of anyone / anything.
Gamma	Has a light green skin tone. Tend to be very quiet and keep to themselves.

Unas

"The First Race" according to Origin. Exceptionally tough and hardy species, and significantly stronger than normal human beings. Green Blood. Males have more spikes and rougher skin than females, but both equally tough.

Canine Races

Race	Description	M	F
Lupine	Canine Bipedals that closely resemble the normal-colored furry drawings. Heights tend to be around 6-7 feet. Very militaristic, violent, calculated, and cold, though are also charismatic and passionate.
Canus Lupis	Canine Bipedals that closely resemble the brightly-colored furry drawings. Heights tend to be around 7-8 feet. Militaristic and cold, but also a race that likes to slack off and have a good time.
Temparans	Wolf-like bipeds in nature, Temparans are pack predators that like to hunt together, utilizing either stealth or lightning fast blitzkriegs. They're around 6'7 feet tall on average and usually have fur color in the grey, black and white ranges.
Talocan	Monogendered, sand-color canines. Capable of reproduction like plants.
Nydis	The Nydis species is, while incredibly genetically far from its ancestor species the Talocan, still technically a race of Canids. Standing at around eight feet in height, the species is composed of Jackals, and timber wolves, of which would be called the Anuv and the Savage Lupines. Hence, the primary color schemes and build typically tends to be that of a Jackal, or a Black/Silver Wolf.

Kithium Races

Race	Description	M	F
Red	These Kithium are often taller than most, standing at sometimes a good eight feet in height and with the physical strength to complement their size. They have sometimes a ten or twelve pack on their abdomens and more pronounced muscles and slightly longer limbs with forearms that are a little larger than the norm. They generally are not very curvy and have smaller busts and a smaller carrying capacity in terms of litters.
Teal	Teal colored Kithium, because of their evolution near the more oceanic regions of the north, where it is mostly alpines connected to the ocean by small stretches of sand along the coast, have developed a tongue that merges back together into one piece inside the mouth and splits into five separate appendages, each tipped with a sort of small tooth-like blade to take fruit or fish and impale them on the teeth and wrap them in their tongues, which stretch and move. This also serves to grab fruit too high to reach with their arms or for use when they can't use their arms. Overall extension from the oral cavity normally is three feet, the tongue extending into the abdomen due to it's length but not inhibiting speech when inside the oral cavity.
Brown	Brown colored Kithium, because of their evolution in the scab lands of their homeworld of which is consistent of mostly jagged rocks, peaks and mountains and some flat, barren valleys, have developed larger and stronger legs to be able to move around efficiently within this area. This allows them to run and jump better than a normal Kithium, and has given them a slight increase in height.
Black	Black Kithium are naturally a lot stronger, physically speaking and much more territorial. This is due to evolving in the plains, where a lot of resources are more consolidated and grass and weeds are the most abundant plants. They have much larger, sharper claws than any of the other races do.
White	White colored fur is a lot thicker, fluffier and can produce by itself an unprecedented amount of heat. This is because of their evolution in the snowy steppes and alpines.
Pink	Pink colored Kithium evolved alongside the red furred Kithium, in the northern forest reaches, and also alongside the teal, white and black. They're a much more fertile race that is much more fertile than a normal Kithium, but is not nearly as virile, and tend to lactate a lot more. They're a lot more curvy and have larger busts.
Orange	Orange colored Kithium evolved alongside the Red and Pink exclusively, and are while not very fertile by comparison, very virile. They have a larger phallus size and a generally higher libido, tend to inherit other traits from other races more alongside this.
Blue	Blue furred Kithium have thinner coats of fur, and take a great liking to the water because they are great swimmers, and have webbed feet and fingers. They generally have white furred underbellies as well and share that trait.
Atheebians	Kithium Atheebians are mostly found in the northern reaches, a race that heavily resembles the Panthera uncia, or snow leopard. Atheebes can inherit any trait and pass on their spotted, very thick and fluffy coats of fur to their offspring, and can have colored fur as well.
Norians	Kithnors are Cheetah like in appearance, and are while generally smaller by about half a foot as compared to normal Kithium that stand at normally 5 feet in height, they're a lot faster with both their reaction times and generally with their legs, having evolved on the savannas of their homeworld. They have thin coats of fur usually colored orange and have tan underbellies, with spots. They can inherit any trait and pass on their great running speed, and have any fur color.
Balo	Kithium Balo are Lynx like, and evolved relatively close to the Atheebes. They exist in snowy, mountainous places and tend to have better control of their libidos, as they are not as fertile or virile as other breeds and because of their size, being about 4 feet high at most, they have a slightly diminished carrying capacity. They have tufts of fur on their ears, much sharper teeth, and are greater climbers. More communal. They can inherit and pass on traits and fur.
Abnorms	Kithium Abnorms are a race of Kithium that originate from the Underworld region of the planet, and have glowing fur that is usually colored black. They have one gender, like the rest of the Ktihium, but are more diverse as well, with two normal body types, one being that of a more male form, lacking in breasts but being feminine all the same while the other body type is standard. They have stripes of cyan fur that glow in the dark, and their fur itself is colored black. They tend to be good climbers and have large claws.

Deathclaw Races

Deathclaws have a hunchbacked, bipedal reptilian build with long humanoid arms. They stand roughly nine to ten feet tall, with a thick and resilient hide, powerful muscles, and twelve-inch-long, razor-sharp claws that can kill almost any other creature in only a few swipes; hence their name. They have an excellent sense of smell and hearing, though their eyesight is poor. Their build gives them incredible speed, agility and strength in close combat, making them an extreme threat.

Wraith (Monster) Races

Wraith have a slight feminine look to their body, with tentacle-like legs, and a extra set of scythe-like arms. Despite appearances of the head, Wraith indeed have eyes, though they typically don't open until late into their adult age, which by then the skin is removed off of them. Wraiths' skin have an eerie resemblance to human skin, with the head having a reptilian-like look to it with muscle visible on the neck and shoulders. They usually grow to around 19.5 ft in height and usually weigh around 8,000 lbs.

Crocodile	A large predatory semiaquatic reptile with long jaws, long tail, short legs, and a horny textured skin, using submersion and stealth to approach prey unseen.
Alligator	A large semiaquatic reptile similar to a crocodile but with a broader and shorter head, native to the Americas and China.
Turtle	A large marine reptile with a bony or leathery shell and flippers, coming ashore annually on sandy beaches to lay eggs.
Tortoise	A slow-moving reptile, enclosed in a scaly or leathery domed shell into which it can retract its head and thick legs.

Dinosaur	A fossil reptile of the Mesozoic era, often reaching an enormous size.
Dragon	A mythical monster like a giant reptile. In European tradition the dragon is typically fire-breathing and tends to symbolize chaos or evil, whereas in East Asia it is usually a beneficent symbol of fertility, associated with water and the heavens.
Snake	A long limbless reptile that has no eyelids, a short tail, and jaws that are capable of considerable extension. Some snakes have a venomous bite.
Lizard	A reptile that typically has a long body and tail, four legs, movable eyelids, and a rough, scaly, or spiny skin.
Crocodile	A large predatory semiaquatic reptile with long jaws, long tail, short legs, and a horny textured skin, using submersion and stealth to approach prey unseen.

Race	Description
Iratus	These creatures are small black carapaced creatures that drain the life from other living beings. They accomplish this by jumping and latching onto the neck of a creature where they wrap themselves around the body after which they begin to drain it of life.

Scorpion	A terrestrial arachnid with lobsterlike pincers and a poisonous sting at the end of its jointed tail, which it can hold curved over the back. Most kinds live in tropical and subtropical areas.
Bee	An insect of a large group to which the honeybee belongs, including many solitary as well as social kinds.
Wasp	A social winged insect that has a narrow waist and a sting. It constructs a paper nest from wood pulp and raises the larvae on a diet of insects.

Aerostat	Aerostats resemble Air-Powered, Aerostatic Bouncy Crafts. These include Hot-Air-Balloons, Blimps, and other Airships. They tend to be larger-built and slow in nature. Their personalities are mostly parental-like qualities, tending to be caring and difficult to anger.
Rotorcraft	Rotorcrafts resemble Rotor-Powered, Heavier-than-Air Crafts. These include Helicopters, Autogyros, and Gyrodynes. Their blades are typically mounted on their back, and are usually very nimble. Some of the larger ones are less nimble, but tougher and stronger. Their personalities range widely, typically resembling their "Model".
Glider	Gliders resemble Non-Powered, Heavier-than-Air Crafts. Literally Gliders. Many can be seen with a "Coupler" (Hand-held Tool for gaining altitude) or with another Powered aircraft. They tend to be very laid-back.
Propeller	Propellers resemble Prop-Powered, Heavier-than-Air Crafts. Most have their propeller on their nose or wings, though uncommonly can be found on their arms or back (pusher-type). While slow in nature, tend to be very strong and economically focused.
Jet	Jets resemble Jet-Powered, Heavier-than-Air Crafts. The "Model" indicates where the Engine(s) is/are. Tend to live a fast-paced lifestyle. Many love being rough and are very quick to anger.
Space Shuttle	Space Shuttles resemble Rocket-Powered, Heavier-than-Air, Orbital Crafts. Many tend to carry their "Boosters" (Large Hand-Held Rockets) with them. Tend to be very Adventurous and love to race.
Prototype	Prototypes are experimental crafts. Not much information, as they can resemble any "Model", but with different qualities. Personalities and Tendencies vary drastically from Prototype to Prototype.
